Mrs. Gordon Winslow




           As his wife looks on, Dr. Gordon Winslow, a US Sanitary Commission agent, enjoys a brief respite at the organization's Gettysburg headquarters. In the aftermath of the battle, the Winslows distributed more than 60 tons of food and myriad other items, including 10,000 shirts, 4,000 pairs of shoes and 110 barrels of bandage material.
