What a wonderful surprise, your site was this
morning when I logged on. I began my Internet search looking for the website of the Vicksburgh Civil War Memorial museum/grounds which I visited in 1991. I have not found it yet but I know I have found a site that I will re-visit again and again. Marvellous!

I play a concertina,fretless banjo (1850's) for the15tha
Alabama Co. G about 8yrs now and it's the best thing about reenacting, sitting around the fire with friends & family and keeping the history alive. Maybe the soldiers looking down from heaven can hear and say "thanks for not forgeting us"

Your website is COOL!! It has a lot of cool sites on the site.
I have learned that the Civil War was a very important war. I
love your site! GREAT JOB!! I know that you are busy and every
thing, but if you have time will you send me a list of
differant things that I could go into on the web TV without
using a mouse?? I would apreciate it. Please send me any
information that does not cost much, and I can order it off the
web site in a couple of days. I want everything on the Civil
War and The Battle of Gatteysburg if possible. IF not just
send things on the Civil War or other important wars or things
in history that you can send me so that I can order of the
site!!
I may not agree with everything you say, but this is
truly a beautiful site. I mean I really like it enough to add
it to my list of favorites.
John Wayne? Yew!!!!
Hi, I love your site. You missed a peppy Southern song in the "S"
column of your Civil War music. The song is called "Southern
Wagon", and it goes to the tune of "Wait for the wagons."

Enjoyed you page very much. Will sit up late some
night to hear some songs I've heard of but not sure
of the melody. Your songs make it easier to be with
men of the war - North or South.

Great site. Have had a great interest in the American Civil
War since childhood. The words of the songs together with the photographs lets one into the
lives of real people.
