Dear Granny Mariah I hope that's not too presumptious - my father is a Lawson, the eldest of nine born to James B Lawson (now dead) and his wife Mary. I know vaguely that many of my father's relatives are in Scotland - he has a Maclaren crest on the wall of his home in Durban. I'm keen on getting started on tracing our "tree", but as grandpa Lawson is dead and granny Lawson is in hosital possibly dying from a heart attack. if you have any hints - or the time to e-mail hints please answer Thanks, Shona ps my brother Alisdair is now in the UK, and may be able to help me with some tracings once we know what to do.
